It's been awhile since I"ve done a "making me happy" list. Enjoy!
- Reynolds Handi-vac vacuum sealer- I always wanted a vacuum sealer machine, but they were too expensive. This new contraption is super cheap, about $10 for the starter kit. It's small and convenient, and the bags are found in your grocery store. I put a head of lettuce in it and it lasted 3 weeks perfectly! Great for freezer use too! I got my starter kit at Target.
- KABOOST booster chair- I got one of these at Target for around $30. I love it! It goes under your dining room chair to make it kid-height. Much better than a plastic booster that slides around and is hard for your toddler to climb into. My Evan can easily slide into his chair and feels like a big boy!
- Creatologie scrapbooking kits by Carol Wingert. I love her style! She makes up monthly kits you buy and make yourself. Very cool, unique ideas, and very good price for what you get. She often includes vintage items, and things papers that she hand makes or hand embellishes just for you!
- Studio Calico scrapbooking kits. I love this monthly kit. The items you get each month are trendy and well coordinated. I love that you can add optional add on kits each month and the variety of the items in the kits. Great design team and message board too!
- Maze game - I may be cruel for including this link, but I can't help myself!
- Bag Borrow or Steal - love designer digs, but can't afford them? Well, you can actually "borrow" them from this website, no kidding! I don't have a desire to do this, but it's definitely one of those "why didn't I think of that?" ideas! And hey, if I had an event that dictated this kind of style, I might do it!
- The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, and Huckleberry Finn- Classic books by Mark Twain. I am loving re-reading these as an adult! The dialect in Huck Finn is hilarious. My dad would be proud!
And since I can't make a post without including a photo, here is a photo of my niece, in case you were having McKenna withdrawals! When Rich saw this photo, he asked why I had a photo of a baby throwing up her insides, ha!

I pretty much hate you for the maze game!!!!!!
